This work reference toy xylophones with their colored metal bars. In Next Steps, the bars are sometimes painted wood, but sometimes painted insulation foam. From a distance, they all look like a similar material, but up close the deception is very evident. Garden hose is stretched and wrapped around the wooden forms, and the metal hoop from a large outdoor patio table adorns the top of this large structure.
